Sales & Administration Assistant (SAA)

Job Summary

A serious sales role with administrative functions. A robust support for the sales & Administration apparatus. This is a dual role of sales and administrative functions that involves overseeing client relationships, account management and ultimately offering support to the Managing Partner and the Director of Sales & Administration.

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Executive to perform in the capacity of an Assistant to the Director of Sales & Administration. Being a robust support base and system for the Sales and Administration office for success at meeting set goals and sales targets for the Consultancy. This role requires that you meet KPIs in gleaning revenue from both new and existing clients. Executive must effectively assist in managing client’s requests and invoices. In this role, you will verify customer information, issue invoices, relay requests/order instructions, and complete monthly sales reports. You may also be required to process timesheets.

To ensure success, Candidate must have experience in a sales environment and advanced/matured administrative skills. Candidate must understand sales performance metrics and provide excellent administrative support to ensure sales targets are met.

Salary is hybrid of both fixed and high commissions based on high-performance. This role is permanent nature and subject to our rigorous recruitment tiered adoption process.

Responsibilities

  • Cold calling and client relationship management.
  • Receiving and processing client’s requests and orders.
  • Issuing sales transaction invoices.
  • Verifying requests/orders, including customers’ personal information and payment details.
  • Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Compiling monthly sales reports.
  • Expediting requests/orders through internal liaison.
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
  • Identifying new products to add to those on offer.
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
  • Support with operations Administration and logistics management.

Qualifications

  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales administration, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience with industry software
  • Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
